Applied puppetry is opening doors to puppeteers who have talent, skills and the desire to find new venues for working with puppets other than pure entertainment. ( Although all puppetry is entertaining!!!!!)

Dr. Joanne Vinzzini has been a puppeteer who uses puppets to reach out regarding pertinent issues for 30 years. During her doctoral studies she was able to create an experiment by which she compared puppet therapy to regular therapy for adults using the Vizzini Puppet Therapy Model – 2001.She felt called to share the unique healing offered through Puppet Therapy.
